神倉書斎/Kamikura Hideaway

神倉書斎は、築60年の2階建ての民家を改装してできた宿の中に、常設展示をしている作品です。
建物の1階では、この家の所有者であった老婦人の孫の物語を辿ります。
彼が10代の頃、調査のためにこの地を訪れ、1年間この家に滞在し、失踪した岩石学者がいました。
大人になった彼は、長年抱えていた失踪の謎に向き合うことを決心します。
2階には岩石学者の書斎が滞在当時のまま保存されています。
この地域の地質に関する奇妙な研究と、滞在の個人的な記録が、絵と古い文字で描かれた研究書、標本、研究仲間に宛てて書かれた手紙として残され、岩石学者の物語を語ります。
Kamikura Hideaway is set in a 60 years old two-story house. It is a permanent exhibition that also serve as a guest house.
The first floor follows the journey of the grandson of the old lady that owned the house. It describes how, when becoming a middle aged man, he decided to seek answers regarding the disappearance of a petrologist that stayed one year in the house when he was a teenager.
The second floor restores the hideaway of the petrologist. It retraces their peculiar research of the local geology and their personal journey during their one year stay in the Kumano region. Their story can be discovered through letters that they wrote to a precious colleague. A mysterious handwritten and illustrated research book is left for the guest to unravel.

何世紀にもわたって眠る、神社へと続く階段にまつわる謎を解決しようとする、昆虫学者の物語。

In the early 1970s, a strange weather phenomena occurs across East Asia. Since then, the protagonist becomes drawn to an unfamiliar place that appears in their dreams.
In this room, the story of an entomologist who tries to solve the mysteries surrounding the stairs of a shrine unravels.

架空想像局 –The Fictional Bureau of Imaginary (FBI)– は、「物語の部屋」と呼ばれる空間の場所を特定し、調査、清掃をする特別な機関です。
その空間は、本来あるべきではない時間と場所にランダムに出現します。
今回、FBIは例外的に、その機能をよりよく理解するための実験として、最近発見された空間に皆様をご招待します。

The Fictional Bureau of Imaginary (FBI), is a special institute that tracks, clean and investigate what they call “narrative spaces”.
These spaces are anomalies that spawn randomly at times and places where they don’t belong.
This time, The FBI exceptionnaly invited people to visit and experiment a recently found anomaly, in a attempt to understand better its functionning.
